The Button Factory, Dublin
Saturday 19th May 2018
Four musicians who first met playing gospel in their local church, Super Silly have fast become one of the key names in the ever growing and internationally acclaimed Irish urban scene. Bringing a rare sense of passion and fun to modern RnB, 2017 saw them drop three releases - 'Not Ready To Leave', 'Mile High Club' and a collaboration with producer Odd Mob on 'No Pressure', a track that gained support from the likes of Peter Tong and was a club chart hit in Australia. Along the way they delivered memorable live sets at Forbidden Fruit, Electric Picnic and Indiependence, closing the year with two packed shows at Other Voices.
2018 is set to see them reach even greater heights, with their debut EP due for release on May 11th. It will be led by two singles, the first of which is released on March 2nd. Produced by Tunde Esho and recorded with Solar Bears' Rian Trench, 'Here' once more marries the band's classic influences with a sound that is very much of the moment - marking them as artists ready for the international stage.
Super Silly will be playing Irish dates in the run up to the EP, culminating with a headline show at the Button Factory in Dublin on May 19th.
