Prepare to be captivated by not one, not two, but three of Ireland's favourite's with this triple-header blues, rock & instrumental prog rock spectacular which will leave you spellbound!
With Blackbird & Crow, Gerry Quigley Band, The Stone Cold Hobo along with MC Pat James (Radio Nova) this is one night you don't want to miss.
Instrumentalist/Composer and Dublin blues/rock guitarist Gerry Quigley took Blackstairs Blues Festival by storm recently with a knockout debut performace, which is no surprise! Quigley has been captivating crowds where ever he plays since returning home to Ireland after 30 years in Australia.
With his ecclectic mix of guitars and things with strings, including a double-neck mandola/bouzouki and his umistakeable blend of original instrumental blues, mixed with prog and a hint of celtic magic, you will be left dumfounded!
When onstage together, the Blackbird and the Crow leave nothing behind in the dressing room. The show is a blatant, honest, in your face expression of musical passion. The songs are a timeline of their own life events, delivered with the same honesty and intensity that it took to write them.
The sheer energy and unmistakable blend of powerhouse vocals and foot-stomping, guitar driven rock & blues of Donegal duo Blackbird & Crow will leave you spellbound.
Just a hobo singin' the Blues with my trusty slide guitar. Martin Cummins aka The Stone-Cold Hobo will have you captivated as he pumps out a succession of your classic blues favourites.
Get ready for something special, music starts at 7:30pm so be early!
Early-bird show with 11pm finish will suit all city commuters!
